Yesterday, it was sunny and a little warm even.
When I walked out of my Yoga class today, it was moderately chilly.
When I left Starbucks with my after-yoga coffee, it was very cold.
When I left the gym this afternoon, it was sleeting.
After lunch with my mother and brother, it began to snow as I drove home.
4 hours later, the snow is 5 inches deep on the ground and 7 inches deep in the eaves of the house.
It is beautiful.
My brothers are out playing in it right now. They've built a snow man and a fort. I've made my snow angel and am settling down, warm infront of the television with my window shades drawn up. I'm sunggled up with some piping hot Lemon Zinger tea, sweetened with honey. I'm working on Callum, my cycling aran
and watching Little Women, my favorite cold-weather movie. (Who am I kidding? It's my favorite any-time movie...) The snow is so thick I can barely see the roofs of the houses in the neighboorhood. It's beating against my window and piled up on the sash. It's so soothing to look out and see great big snow flurries.
I love winter.
